On april 14 a volcano erupted in iceland. And now giant clouds of ash are flying above the most used part of airspace. And if the ash got in the jet engines of a plane it would clog them up. So airlines lost 200 million dollars a day. Farmers also lost money because they couldent sell produce to other countries. This volcano is causing lots of problems.
many scientists have different theories. So a group of them got together and reviewed 30 years of research. And they know that it was an asteroid. but they think the asteroid kicked up so much dirt it blocked the sun and the temperature dropped too much. So the temperature dropped to like 50 below without the sun. What would it feel like to the dinosaurs on the ice caps? Well I think I’m done with this post sooo goodbye and comment!!!!!!!!
Pronounced envy it is a tiny bubble shaped car… But what really takes our attention is that it runs on electricity. EN-V stands for electric networked vehicle. The maker GM hopes that it is the car of the future. It has been recently unveiled in china. But will people buy it? That is what GM hopes I dont know it might be the trend for a while.
The iPAD is a cross between a laptop and a iphone. When measured diagonally the screen is 9.7 inches across. The iPAD tablet is half an inch thick. Some people like me are saying it is a iphone on steroids. I have actually used one and it is very fast at loading. In all I think the iPAD is an iWIN!
Thursday a small gang of pirates fired on the U.S.S Ncholas with small arms fire. The warship responded with fire from deck guns. the warship captured three pirates. Later the U.S.S Nicholas found and confiscated the “mothership”. They also found and arrested two other pirates.
There was earthquakes in Chile and Haiti recently but which one was worse? I say Haiti’s quake was worse even though it wasn’t as strong I’ll tell why. In Haiti none of the homes or buildings were built to withstand the force of an earthquake. But in Chile it was a different story the earthquake was worse but it didn’t do as much damage here’s why. In Chile there is a list of standards of how to make the building. The building sways with the vibrations. So even though the earthquake was worse it did less damage.
Venezuela got independence from Spain on July 5, 1811. The US got theirs on July 4, 1776. In Venezuela the presidential term is one six year term. In the US president can, if elected twice, be in office for two four year terms. Venezuela’s constitution was made on December 30, 1998. Our constitution was made on September 17, 1787.
The number of kids getting fat has tripled since 1980. At the same time there has been more corn added to our food. Can the corn be the cause? Mostly all fast food is corn. Look on the back of your food does it have high fructose corn syrup? Nearly all food has corn in it. Even toothpaste has corn in it! Eat organic or get fat. Also here is another thing cows that are fed corn get fatter than ones that aren’t.
People in Afghanistan are suffering from poverty, food, and war. Only about twelve percent of the land can be farmed and there is barely any drinking water. The civilians are trying to get together and read. A man went to Afghanistan to look at the schools, they were mostly just tents with one chalkboard. But sometimes they were a closed public toilet. I think they are like Booker T. Washington they have a drive to read.
